TI - Status of the ESS Medium Beta Cavities at INFN LASA J2 - Proc. of SRF2023, Grand Rapids, MI, USA, 25-30 June 2023 CY - Grand Rapids, MI, USA T2 - International Conference on RF Superconductivity T3 - 21 LA - english AB - The INFN LASA’s contribution to the ESS Medium Beta Superconducting Linac consists of 36 cavities that raise the proton beam energy from 216 MeV to 571 MeV. Out of the 36 cavities, 28 have been successfully qualified and delivered for assembly into a cryomodule at CEA Saclay. The remaining cavities have been reprocessed in order to bring them up to ESS specifications. To mitigate further delays in the delivery of the cavities, four new ones are currently under construction. We are reporting on the current status of both the recovery actions we have developed so far and the performance of the newly produced resonators.
